- Why would I want an upstand on my workbench?
Also known as splashback/rear lip, it prevents spills, chemicals or particulate seeping behind the bench. This prevents gaps where debris or contamination might build up behind the unit.
If your process uses liquids, it can act like a splash barrier and protect walls or partitions. Or, if your process uses lots of equipment it also prevents containers and equipment from slipping off the back of the workbench. - Why might I choose a Sealwise work surface over a Trespa worksurface?
Sealwise is comparable to Trespa for quality and performance – but it’s significantly lighter in terms of weight.
- Why would I want an undershelf on my workbench?
An undershelf provides a great storage solution and keeps your main worksurface clear. Trays, lin bins, small equipment and tools can all be stored under your main surface and makes your workstation highly functional. It can be solid or perforated, to allow airflow and compliance.
