ISOshelf Plus

- Chrome or stainless steel wire racking
- 3 or 4-tier units
- Ideal solution for airflow
- Open wire design: promotes better airflow and ventilation, reducing dust accumulation and aiding in temperature/humidity control
- Lightweight and easy to assemble: quick installation and reconfiguration make it ideal for adaptable lab environments
- Description
ISOshelf Plus chrome wire racking offers a practical, lightweight option for non-critical areas requiring high visibility and improved airflow.
Its open-grid design enhances ventilation, ensuring minimal disruption to laminar flow systems and reducing the risk of particle build-up – essential for maintaining environmental control. The open structure also provides clear visibility, supporting quick inventory checks and reducing unnecessary handling.
It’s a cost effective, hygienic and has a high load-bearing capacity. Although it is not as corrosion resistant as stainless steel, it is great for dry, low moisture environments. The surface is resistant to scratching and its open construction is great for airflow and particulate control. An ideal solution for applications on tighter budgets or areas that don't require classification.- Good visibility: open shelving design allows for easy identification and access to stored items
- Adjustability: shelves can typically be repositioned without tools, offering flexible storage solutions
- Mobility options: often compatible with casters, making it easy to create mobile storage units
- Electroplated surface: provides a basic level of corrosion resistance for dry or low-moisture areas
- Modular and scalable: easily expandable with accessories like dividers, label holders, and additional shelves
- Ideal for iso class 7-8 cleanrooms or other controlled environments where high-level chemical resistance isn’t required
- Not as suitable for high-cleanliness areas where aggressive sterilisation protocols may be required. ISOshelf Max and Pro models will be more suitable for these environments.
- Shorter lifespan than stainless steel in demanding environments

FAQS
Want to know more about how the ISOshelf Plus might benefit your controlled environment facility management? Click the plus symbols (right) to check out some of the most Frequently Asked Questions related to this product!
- How much weight load do the shelves hold?
The 600mm to 1200mm lengths can hold up to 300kg per shelf. The 1500mm and 1800 lengths can hold up to 275kg per shelf.
- Why chrome?
It’s a cost effective, hygienic and has a high load-bearing capacity. Although it is not as corrosion resistant as stainless steel, it is great for dry, low moisture environments. The surface is resistant to scratching and its open construction is great for airflow and particulate control.
- Why stainless steel?
As it’s corrosion resistant, it withstands harsh cleaning agents, steam cleaning, autoclaving, moisture and humidity. It's ideal for cleanrooms with a rigorous cleaning protocol. It can take heavy loads and its open construction is great for airflow and particulate control.
- Do I need feet or castors?
Levelling feet are ideal for static storage, when safety and stability are paramount. Castors (wheels) are perfect if the storage needs to be regularly repositioned for cleaning or reconfiguring layouts. They're lockable, offering stability when stationary.
