The bench is non-porous, anti-microbial and highly resistant to moisture, chemicals, and impact – ensuring long-lasting performance and uncompromised cleanliness. Smooth, sealed surfaces prevent the harbouring of bacteria or particles, making cleaning fast and thorough.

- Is Trespa waterproof?
No, but it is highly water-resistant. It has a HPL (High Pressure Laminate) core made from compressed wood fibres and thermosetting resins under high pressure. This dense surface is non-porous, meaning it will repel water rather than absorb it.
- Is Sealwise waterproof?
Yes, 100%! With a closed-cell structure of recycled uPVC and a fully sealed, non-porous surface there is no water absorption or swelling. It is completely smooth and sealed, so liquids and bacteria have nowhere to hide.
- Which is stronger – Sealwise or Trespa?
They have varied strengths depending on the application, but both are tough, durable materials.
Trespa HPL is incredibly dense and impact resistant so can be a better choice for heavy duty work and high-load surface processes. Whilst Sealwise is still durable, it is slightly less rigid than Trespa. - Why is Trespa suitable for cleanrooms and labs?
